ChordFlow provides comprehensive team management capabilities to organize your workforce and control access across your organization.
Organization Structure
ChordFlow organizes teams in a hierarchical structure:
Organizations
Top-level container for your company or group
Teams
Groups of people working together (Engineering, Design, Product, etc.)
Projects
Specific initiatives that teams collaborate on
Organization Roles
ChordFlow has three main organization roles with different permission levels:
Owner
Highest level of access with full control over the organization. Can change all member roles, remove members, invite new users, and rename the organization.
Admin
Mid-level administrative access for managing teams and members. Can promote members to admin, remove non-owners, and invite new members.
Member
Basic organization access for day-to-day collaboration. Can participate in projects and teams, create documents, but cannot manage other users.
Team & Project Roles
Within teams and projects, members can have additional specific roles:
Team Lead
Manages team-specific settings and can assign project roles to team members.
Project Manager
Oversees specific projects, manages project documents, and coordinates project activities.
Contributor
Standard team member who can participate in projects, create and edit documents, and collaborate with AI assistants.
Managing Your Team
Key team management activities include:
Inviting Members
Send email invitations to new team members with appropriate role assignments and access permissions.
Role Management
Adjust member roles and permissions as team needs evolve and organizational structure changes.
Access Control
Set appropriate permissions for documents, projects, and organizational resources based on team roles.
